Joey's love affair with skiing ignited on the gentle slopes of Morzine, France. Dressed in his signature fluorescent yellow one-piece and sporting zinc lip balm, he was unmistakably passionate and destined for a life amid snowy peaks. His adventurous spirit took him from the Austrian/German Alps during his youth to the majestic landscapes of Jasper, Alberta, at 19. It was there that he embarked on his journey to become a certified ski instructor, a pursuit that became his lifelong passion.
Over the subsequent decade, Joey honed his skills in renowned resorts such as Lake Louise, Whistler Blackcomb, and even as far afield as Australia and China. His relentless dedication culminated in achieving the CSIA Level IV.
But Joey's journey didn’t stop there. He persistently pushes the boundaries of his skiing prowess and instructional techniques. Today, he's recognized as a rising trainer among ski trainers in Canada, sharing his fervor globally and molding skiers on an international scale. Always a pioneer, Joey's innovative training methodologies both on and off the snow have been instrumental in shaping the 'precision approach'.
Now, coming full circle, Joey can be found in Jasper, Alberta, where his skiing dream took flight. A notable moment in his illustrious career was his guest judge role at the Ski Congress of China's Formation Skiing Competition in 2023.

CSIA Lv4, CSIA Level 3 Trainer
Josh’s passion for skiing started at a young age, skiing at resorts in the French Alps, where his instructor Grandfather taught him to ski. Josh knew from an early age that skiing was going to play a large role in his life, and led him to race for his university on artificial slopes in England and in France. After university, it was an easy decision for Josh to forgo an office job and move to Whistler, British Columbia, and begin training as a ski instructor.
After working and training at Whistler Blackcomb for 7 years, Josh achieved his top Canadian instructor certification, the CSIA Level IV. However, the Level IV was never the end goal, and Josh continues to work to further his understanding of high level skiing and teaching, endeavouring to deliver the most precise level of instruction possible.
When he is not on the slopes, Josh enjoys backcountry horseback riding with his dog, Tiggy, and exploring all that the BC backcountry has to offer.
